Thailand Solar Energy Exhibition
Our company is fortunate to participate in the Thailand Solar Energy Exhibition in March. As the engine of ASEAN economic growth, Thailand is accelerating the transformation of its energy structure. According to the plan of the Thai Ministry of Energy, renewable energy will account for 30% of the country's total electricity generation by 2036, with a target of 6GW for solar installed capacity. The government attracts global investors to invest in the photovoltaic market through tax incentives, subsidy policies, and simplified approval processes. In addition, Thailand has an average annual sunshine radiation of 1200-1400 kWh/m ², providing unique natural conditions for the development of solar energy.
During the exhibition, the Chairman of the Energy Commission of Thailand and the Minister of Industry and other political figures visited the venue, emphasizing that Thailand will build a Southeast Asian clean energy center through technological cooperation and policy support. It is predicted that the solar energy market in Thailand will grow from 3.9GW in 2024 to 5.52GW in 2029, with a compound annual growth rate of 7.2%, making it one of the most promising photovoltaic markets in the world.
